Sri Lanka’s Kelani River Pumping Project Creates Infrastructure Technology Opportunities

On 28 October, Japan signed a grant agreement worth JPY 2.179 billion, approximately LKR 4.539 billion, for a pumping-station improvement project in the Kelani River Basin. The planned infrastructure is designed to improve drainage and protect businesses, transport links and communities from flooding. Industrial operators and suppliers can explore equipment monitoring, maintenance forecasting and operational simulations, while HPC can support engineering analysis and complex data workloads. The grant value relates to the wider project, not a confirmed HPC purchase. Contact HPC for a tailored quotation.
