Tirana Awards a US$20 Million Contract for Mother Teresa Square

On 23 October, the Albanian Development Fund awarded the Progeen–Bami consortium a contract for the redevelopment of Mother Teresa Square and underground parking in Tirana. The reported contract amount is ALL 1.63 billion excluding VAT, approximately €17.5 million (US$20 million); the original tender limit was €22.5 million.
